Wagman’s Geotechnical Construction group was subcontracted to design and install the deep foundations for a new twelve (12) story apartment building in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The Queen Street Apartment project consisted of Wagman designing and installing 164 micropiles ranging from 37’ to 78’ feet deep. This project had an aggressive schedule which required two drill rigs on an extremely small project site, but the project team was able to complete the work ahead of schedule.
The project also required 665 square feet of temporary excavation support for the tower crane foundation installation and elevator pit excavation.
