Wagman’s Geotechnical Construction group was subcontracted to design and install the deep foundations for a new bridge across Little Lehigh Creek in Allentown, PA. The project consisted of Wagman designing and installing 26 micropiles with an average depth of 36 feet. The project team was able to complete the work safely and ahead of schedule.
Key Challenges & Project Details
- The project presented mobilization challenges with difficult access.
- Due to overhead electrical lines, there was low headroom for drilling.
