Wagman’s Special Projects Group renovated the interior first and second floors of a historic theater located in downtown York, Pennsylvania. What was once a farmer’s market, the 105-year old building now serves as a community theater offering plays, musicals, classes and camps for kids.
The second floor includes new bathrooms while the first floor lobby was expanded and remodeled with a modern, industrial theme featuring the original flooring, wooden beams and exposed lights hung at different elevations. The existing freight elevator was replaced with a true elevator.
A new performance studio features a stage and seating that can be maneuvered depending on the performance.
