Located in Allentown, Pa., Diakon’s Luther Crest Campus underwent a series of building renovations, upgrades and additions.
Renovations occurred throughout the majority of the campus including the commons building lobby, kitchen and formal dining room. A total roof replacement required detailed phasing to keep existing operations functional.
Throughout a multi-year process, the independent living apartments and corridors were upgraded and renovated within multiple three-story buildings on campus.
New construction included a three-story, 14-unit apartment building and a 10,000 SF wellness center connected to the commons building. Amenities to the wellness center include a swimming pool, arts and crafts room, fitness center, clinic and massage therapy center. There were multiple green structural and design elements incorporated into the construction process.
