Wagman Construction Project

Asbury Methodist Village – Rosborough

  • Location

    Gaithersburg, MD

Wagman converted an existing shop on the Asbury Methodist Village campus in Gaithersburg, MD into a new activity space for residents. The renovation of the 3,500 SF of space created a new gym with punching bags, a rock climbing wall, and a tech board that is meant for helping those with Parkinson’s disease.

Additionally, renovations to the offices and common spaces were completed.

Key Challenges & Project Details

  • There was a high number of above ceiling obstructions. Wagman found solutions to present to the architect so a decision could be made to ensure proper installation of MEP’s and cloud ceiling systems.
  • Material for the project was affected by the supply chain shortage. To ensure the project was completed on time, the team found alternatives and worked with the manufacturers to have the materials delivered to complete the project.
  • Wagman coordinated with Asbury, THW Design and Eldorado Wall to safely install the climbing wall.
