(York, PA) Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc. and Joint Venture Partner, Allan Myers, Inc., announce they have been issued the contract for the I-95 ETL Northbound Extension MD 24 Interchange project.
The $199M project for the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) includes the installation of two express toll lanes (ETL) and four general purpose lanes for I-95 Northbound and Southbound. This multi-phased project will include a full interchange reconstruction including the replacement of the existing MD 24 bridge, construction of a new southbound bridge on I-95 over Winters Run, maintenance of traffic, signage structures, toll gantry, stormwater management and stream restoration.
This is the fourth joint venture (JV) project for Wagman Heavy Civil and Allan Myers. The two companies are currently finishing work on the $196M MD 152 Interchange project in Harford County, MD and beginning construction operations on the $173M I-64 Gap C Design-Build project in Virginia. They also completed the award-winning MD 404 Dualization Design-Build project (along with David A. Bramble, Inc.) in 2017.
