(York, PA) Wagman Construction, Inc. is a proud ABC Keystone member and is honored to have three projects recognized at this year’s Excellence in Construction Awards. The awards celebrate outstanding achievements in merit shop construction, recognizing projects and contractors for excellence in areas including quality, innovation, safety, and teamwork.
During the Excellence in Construction Awards Gala on November 5, 2026, Wagman received an Excellence Award for the Lombardo’s Renovation & Expansion project in the Commercial $2 to $10 Million category, an Excellence Award for the Wagman Corporate Headquarters project in the Commercial $2 to $10 Million category, and a Merit Award for the Children’s Aid Society – Werner Early Learning Childcare Center project in the Institutional $2 to $10 Million category.
“Being recognized by ABC Keystone with these awards reflects our team’s continued dedication to quality, collaboration, and client satisfaction,” said Jan Wagner, President of Wagman Construction. “Each of these projects presented a unique opportunity to work closely with our clients and project partners to create spaces that support their long-term goals and the people they serve. We are grateful for the trust of our clients and proud of the dedication our teams brought to each project.”
Each of the awarded projects highlights Wagman’s experience delivering high-quality construction tailored to the unique needs of its clients. The Lombardo’s Renovation & Expansion involved a complex, multiphase renovation and expansion within a constrained urban site, requiring extensive demolition, structural modifications, utility upgrades, and high-end interior construction while accommodating the needs of an active restaurant. For Wagman’s new Corporate Headquarters, a 40,000 SF former office building, originally constructed by Wagman in 1994, was transformed through a complete interior renovation, upgraded MEP systems, refreshed finishes, and exterior improvements to support current and future operational needs. The Children’s Aid Society – Werner Early Learning Childcare Center added a new, purpose-built facility designed to support the organization’s mission of serving children and families while prioritizing functionality, safety, and long-term operations.
