York County SPCA Dog Run

Wagman Construction’s Special Projects Group partnered with the York County SPCA to deliver a new dog run at their facility on Susquehanna Trail in York, PA. The SPCA came to our team with a rough concept, and through a collaborative design-build approach, we helped refine the vision and bring it to life.

Working closely with the owner, township officials, and the design team, Wagman navigated challenging zoning requirements related to the installation of an eight-foot fence, as well as unforeseen soil and rock conditions on site. Our team also extended water and electrical service to support the functionality of the space.

The project includes integrated seating and a shade structure, both self-performed by Wagman’s Special Projects Group. Most services for the project were donated, and the project was completed at cost, reinforcing Wagman’s commitment to supporting mission-driven organizations in our community.

The project team collaborated with ThYnk Design as architect, Paragon Engineering as plumbing and electrical engineer, and C.S. Davidson as structural engineer to successfully deliver the project.
