Wagman Construction’s Special Projects Group completed interior upgrades at Quincy Village, focusing on general maintenance improvements to the suspended ceiling system and lighting within the campus’s Main Kitchen. The project was carefully planned and executed within an active, fully functional kitchen environment, requiring close coordination and attention to operational needs.
The scope of work included the removal and replacement of existing ceiling tiles, gridwork, and lighting fixtures in the Main Kitchen, Dietician’s Office, and adjacent restrooms, utilizing new one‑for‑one products. New suspended ceiling systems and energy‑efficient LED lighting was installed, along with updated emergency and exit lighting, while existing wiring and controls were reused where appropriate.
To minimize disruption to daily operations, construction was performed during off‑hours, allowing the kitchen to remain fully operational during normal business hours. Wagman provided full‑time, on‑site supervision throughout the project and maintained a clean and sanitary work environment, including air‑quality control measures as required. All work was completed in compliance with Department of Health regulations and inspection requirements.
