Wagman’s Special Projects Group completed the installation of a new, dropped ceiling in existing classrooms at the Harrisburg, Pa. campus of Harrisburg Area Community College.
The existing open ceiling plan created classroom disruptions during rainstorms, so much so that classes had to be cancelled. The Wagman team installed a dropped ceiling in seven classrooms to mitigate sound disruptions due to rain. Work included dropping all devices, sprinklers, lights and strobes to the new dropped ceiling height.
