Wagman provided construction management services for the $5M renovation and expansion of David H. Martin Excavating’s facilities and office building in Chambersburg, PA. The existing space was renovated and includes a new floor plan, flooring, painted walls, and the installation of new ceilings. The expansion includes 17,000 SF of new office space that connects to the existing office building. This new space includes new offices, break rooms, conference rooms, and an open-air, two-level atrium in the center of the building. The renovation and expansion allow David H. Martin Excavating to better serve the needs of its expanding clientele.

This project consisted of many unique features, including exposed ceilings, exposed brick veneer, polished concrete floors, and an open-air, two-story atrium in the center of the building. Although the COVID-19 pandemic created material lead time issues for some of the items needed for the project, Wagman was able to find ways to continue to keep the project schedule moving forward which resulted in a successful project outcome.
