I-64 Segment 1A Noisewall

Wagman’s Geotechnical Construction Group was contracted by Allan Myers to furnish and install a sound barrier wall for the Hampton Roads Express Lanes I-64 Segment 1A VDOT design-build project. This included drilling 36” diameter continuous flight auger (CFA) shafts and placing a full-length galvanized post and all required hardware. Once the wall was excavated, Wagman remobilized to place 299 retaining and sound barrier wall panels. Even though this project team had various challenges, Wagman was able to deliver this project ahead of schedule.
