The MD 24 Interchange project is a $200M for the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) and includes the installation of two express toll lanes (ETL) and four general purpose lanes for I-95 Northbound. This multi-phased project will include a full interchange reconstruction including the replacement of the existing MD 24 bridge, construction of a new southbound bridge on I-95 over Winters Run, a ramp flyover bridge, maintenance of traffic, signage structures, toll gantry, numerous retaining walls, stormwater management and stream restoration.
Key Challenges & Project Details
- This is the fourth joint venture project for Wagman Heavy Civil and Allan Myers. The two companies have completed the MD 152 Interchange project and the MD 404 Dualization design-build project (along with David A. Bramble) and are beginning construction operations for the I-64 Gap C design-build project in VA.
