Wagman Heavy Civil accepts the 2024 Contractor Safety Award in the 500,000 - 1,000,000 manhours category.
(York, PA) Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc. received two safety awards at the Heavy Construction Contractors Association (HCCA) Safety and Infrastructure Awards Dinner, held at the Chantilly National Golf and Country Club, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. These awards recognize outstanding safety performance and excellence in construction. Wagman accepted a 2024 Safety Award, in the Highway Construction/Bridge Construction/General Contractor category of 500,000 – 1,000,000 manhours, for work performed in the DC, Maryland & Virginia region.
Additionally, Teresa Flores Rodriguez, a group leader at Wagman Heavy Civil, received the 2024 Career Safety Award. With selection decided by the HCCA Safety Committee, this award recognizes an individual who has made a significant impact on the safety of their workplace by demonstrating excellent safety practices, suggesting improvements and mentoring others. Teresa is an advocate for positive changes in her line of work and looks out not only for her crew, but the travelling public on her projects.
