Wagman Heavy Civil Completes Traffic Switch at MD 152 Interchange

(York, PA) Wagman Heavy Civil and Joint Venture Partner, Allan Myers, have completed a major traffic switch at the MD 152 Interchange Reconstruction project. Located in Harford County, MD, the existing MD 152 overpass is being reconstructed in three phases over I-95 to facilitate widening of the interstate to accommodate two new Express Toll Lanes (ETLs) and four general purpose lanes in each direction.

By placing traffic on the newly constructed portion of MD 152 southbound, the Joint Venture is able to progress to the   second of the three total phases of reconstruction of the Route 152 interchange bridge and approaches. The switch was coordinated with the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) and State Highway Administration (SHA).

The $196M project for MDTA is a Joint Venture of Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc. and Allan Myers, Inc. In addition to the full interchange reconstruction, the project also permanently removed the Old Mountain Bridge and existing Park & Ride lot.
