(York, PA) Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc. announces they have been issued the contract for the Woolridge Road Extension project in Chesterfield County, VA.
The $42M construction project for Chesterfield County Virginia will improve connectivity, making it easier for motorists to navigate a growing part of Chesterfield. The scope includes a new, 1.25-mile extension of Woolridge Road with construction of a four-lane divided road, new traffic signal for Woolridge Road and Route 288, a roundabout at Route 288 and Old Hundred Road, and shared-use path and sidewalk that will run the length of the project.
Construction will begin in December and is slated to be complete by summer 2028. This will be the second project for Wagman in the area, as crews recently completed the Nash Road Extension project approximately six months ahead of schedule.
