(Frederick, MD) After the construction of the first phase of The Lodge with 85 apartments, connecting commons, and amenity space was completed in 2016, Homewood Retirement Centers partnered once again with Wagman Construction to complete the final phase of this apartment building. The collaboration between Wagman and Homewood, spanning two decades and over 50 projects, reflects a deep-rooted partnership built on trust and shared success.
Comprised of an additional 73,000 square feet, the final phase of The Lodge added 31 new apartments, enriching the lives of residents. Designed by Noelker and Hull Associates, the project showcased Wagman’s expertise in innovative construction techniques. The team constructed 16-foot-high cast-in-place concrete wall foundations, a sturdy base for the four-story, wood-framed structure. Topped with trusses reaching 74 feet above the parking level, the building offered residents breathtaking views and ample space.
With the completion of phase two, The Lodge at Homewood at Frederick stands as a testament to the collaborative spirit of Homewood and Wagman. Together, they have created a vibrant community where residents can enjoy a fulfilling and enriching lifestyle.
