(York, Pa.) Wagman Construction celebrated with YMCA of York and York County with a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, marking the start of construction at the Southern Branch YMCA in Shrewsbury, Pa.
“We’re thrilled to partner with YMCA of York and York County as they bring their vision to reality and continue to provide access and programs for healthy living in our communities,” said Mark Morrow, vice president and general manager of Wagman Construction.
Designed by Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects, the project will include approximately 15,000 SF of additions to the existing YMCA building. A new warm water therapeutic pool will be added. The addition also features a new full-size gymnasium building that will provide coveted indoor recreational space in Southern York County, allowing for events like basketball games.
