(York, PA) Wagman is excited to announce the purchase of 3265 Farmtrail Road. After construction and renovations, Wagman plans to relocate York office personnel. This will be the new main office in York, PA for Wagman, Inc., Wagman Construction, Inc. and Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc., including Wagman’s Geotechnical Operation for the north. The office relocation will allow for long-term expansion plans for Wagman’s Field Service Center, which maintains their equipment fleet at their current 3290 North Susquehanna Trail campus.
Mike Glezer, CEO of Wagman, Inc, comments, “Our main office building in York has served us well for over 50 years, but the maintenance is costly, expansion options were limited and the layout presents constraints to our teams. We also need more parking.”
Since Mike and wife Lisa Wagman Glezer, President/fourth generation owners started 20 years ago, the company as a whole has more than tripled in terms of people, volume and revenue. Wagman has been based in York County since 1902. The company has two operational offices in Virginia, but the headquarters for operations and the human resources, accounting, legal, IT, marketing, and safety teams are all primarily centralized out of the York office.
Glezer adds, “We spent several years looking at land and buildings and conducting evaluations. Staying close to our Field Service Center and the I-83/Route 30 Corridor was a preference. 3265 Farmtrail Road has been a consideration for several years since it was adjacent to our existing campus. Our team is very excited.”
The GGS building at 3265 Farmtrail Road was originally built by Wagman Construction. In addition to the location, it has a more conducive space to work with. It also features additional parking and green space with a walking path.
Initial news about the purchase was shared internally to Wagman employees before the Thanksgiving holiday.
The official closing was December 21, 2023, prior to Wagman’s Pennsylvania holiday party. Benjamin Chiaro, CCIM of True Commercial Real Estate represented Wagman and Rock Real Estate represented GGS.
Wagman is working with Warehaus on design and Wagman Construction will be the contractor for the renovations at 3265 Farmtrail Road.
