Wagman Construction, alongside YMCA of the Roses, community leaders, and project partners, celebrated the completion of the Spring Grove YMCA renovation project with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, July 31.
Designed to enhance the community experience, the 117,000 SF, multi-tenant facility serves a variety of organizations in addition to the YMCA of the Roses, including the Spring Grove School District, Windy Hill Senior Center, Training Leaders Through Athletics (TLA), New Hope Ministries, Spring Grove Regional Parks & Recreation Center and the Spring Grove Alliance Church.
The renovation modernized the space with demolition and replacement of interior walls, finishes and MEP systems, while maintaining functionality, as portions of the building remained occupied and operational throughout construction. Key enhancements included a new sprinkler system and exterior fire main, partial roof replacement and replacement of select rooftop units. Additional improvements featured upgraded ductwork and controls, renovated restroom facilities, expanded utility services, and updated power and data infrastructure throughout the renovated areas.

“We are proud to have partnered with the YMCA on this project, which will have a lasting impact on the community,” said Jan Wagner, President of Wagman Construction. “The YMCA plays an important role in bringing people together and we’re honored to help create spaces that support programs and connection.”
CORE Design Group served as the architect with Wagman Construction as the general contractor on the project.
