(York, PA) Wagman Companies, Inc. broke ground for a new office in Dinwiddie, VA. G.A. & F.C. Wagman, Inc. a nationally recognized leader in the heavy civil and transportation markets, acquired 25 acres for a new office and equipment service center on Simpson Road in January of 2014.
During the groundbreaking ceremony on August 25, 2014, Mike Glezer, CEO of Wagman, commented, “We want to thank Dinwiddie County for working with us to bring this project to fruition. We are excited to bring jobs to this growing area and look forward to becoming more involved as a productive and community oriented corporate citizen.” According to Glezer, the Dinwiddie office is scheduled to be complete in January of 2015.
This groundbreaking follows Wagman’s acquisition in 2013 of Key Construction Company, Inc. and its subsidiaries, D.W. Lyle Corp. and Key Constructors, Inc., Virginia based companies. G.A. & F.C. Wagman, Inc. will be relocating the Chester, VA operations to the new Dinwiddie, VA facility when complete.
Wagman’s expansion into Virginia is a result of a strategic plan to increase operations and in the Mid-Atlantic and Southern Regions. Wagman currently has 2 office in Pennsylvania and 3 offices in Virginia. Wagman Construction, Inc., the sister company of G.A. & F.C. Wagman, Inc. is the general contractor for the construction of the approximately 14,000 SF office and equipment center.
