(York, PA) Rich Wagman, chairman and chief executive officer of G.A. & F.C. Wagman, Inc. has been named 2009 TRIP Chairman. TRIP (The Road Information Program), is a national transportation research group. Rich has served on the TRIP Board since 2000.
Rich Wagman has devoted his career to G.A. & F.C. Wagman, Inc., a heavy and highway general contracting company, as well as transportation organizations which support and promote improving the transportation industry by creating jobs, improving the safety of construction sites and educating legislators on the importance of increased industry funding.
He served as Chairman of American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) from 2004-2005 after working his way up the ranks in various leadership positions. In addition to his continued involvement in ARTBA, he is an active leader in other construction-related associations, currently serving on the boards of the Associated Pennsylvania Constructors (APC) and Maryland Highway Contractors Association (MHCA). He is also a past president of both organizations.
