
(York, PA) G.A. & F.C. Wagman, Inc. received an Award for Excellence from the Maryland Quality Initiative (MdQI) at their annual Conference on January 28, 2010 in Baltimore. Wagman was recognized in the category of major roadway (over $10 million) for the project located at the I-95/I-495/MD 210 Interchange, Mainline & Ramp B. This is one of five Woodrow Wilson Bridge contracts that Wagman completed for the Maryland State Highway Administration.
The Woodrow Wilson I-95/I-495/MD 210 Interchange project was a large, complex project, involved major traffic switches and extraordinary coordination among multiple agencies and adjacent projects.
According to their website www.mdqi.org, MdQI is a cooperative effort by Maryland’s highway industry dedicated to the continuous quality improvement in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of Maryland’s highway system.
