(York, PA) G.A. & F.C. Wagman, Inc. announces the acquisition of Key Construction Company, Inc. and its subsidiaries, D.W. Lyle Corporation and Key Constructors, Inc., each of whom provides heavy civil construction services out of offices in Virginia. G.A. & F.C. Wagman, Inc. purchased Key Construction Company, Inc. from Utility Services Associates, Inc. (USA).
The operation, formerly operating as Key Construction Company, Inc. and subsidiaries will operate as “D.W. Lyle – a Division of G.A. & F.C. Wagman, Inc.”. They will continue to operate out of their offices in Chester, VA and Clarksville, VA.
Over the past 10 years Wagman has been growing their workforce in the Southern Region and in 2012, acquired the Earth Support Division of GeoConstructors, which now operates as the Southern Region office of Wagman’s Geotechnical Construction Services in Berryville, VA.
The acquisition of Key Construction Company, Inc. further expands G.A. & F.C. Wagman, Inc.’s heavy/highway construction services, particularly in the Southern Region. Mike Glezer, CEO of Wagman Companies and G.A. & F.C. Wagman, Inc. adds “The acquisition allows us to further enhance our workforce personnel and continue to grow our construction services in the Southern Region. Key and D.W. Lyle are well-established and reputable contractors, providing very similar services as G.A. & F.C. Wagman. The addition of the D.W. Lyle Division to G.A. & F.C. Wagman, Inc. brings 80-100 new employees. The acquisition also increases Wagman’s inventory of construction equipment.
