Why Wagman for Green
|
 |

Green practices provide a variety of benefits that include reduction in waste, energy efficiencies, more productive work environments and healthier surroundings, to name a few.
Wagman "walks the talk" when it comes to green buildings - our office is LEED Certified by the US Green Building Council.
Wagman's knowledge, experience and commitment to sustainable design and practices, make us the right choice for your green construction project.
LEED-Accredited Professionals on Staff
Wagman Construction has for many years been a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Green Building Association of Central Pennsylvania (GBACP). Our LEED-Accredited Professionals have successfully demonstrated their knowledge of integrated design, understanding of green building practices and principles, and familiarity with LEED requirements, resources and processes.
Green Building Experience
Our groundbreaking projects demonstrate that WCI knows the nuts and bolts of taking "green" from concept to reality, including the documentation necessary for LEED certification.
Wagman's Special Projects Group provides green options for those smaller renovation projects.
Seminars and Consulting Services
WCI conducts seminars on green building, which examine sustainable design concepts, emerging trends in green construction, the LEED certification process, and cost implications of green design and construction.
Green Building Committee
Chaired by one of its LEED-Accredited Professionals, WCI's Green Building Committee helps to ensure that we "practice what we preach" in our own offices and work practices, and to educate our employees on the state of the practice in the green-building movement.
