We are currently seeking an experienced Juinor Project Manager for a project located in the Gaithersburg, MD area. We are looking for an enthusiastic, goal-oriented individual, who can work well in a close knit team environment.

Position Summary:

Provides assistance to the Project manager and  the Field Superintendent with overall management direction to the project, establish project objectives, and maintain liaison with prime client contacts.

Basic Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in the coordination of the submittal process for the project.
• Write RFIs and distribute answered RFIs to all affected subcontractors
• Facilitate and maintain all project documentation and files
• Assist with subcontract purchasing
• Assist with change order process
• Attend meetings, prepare and distribute minutes to attendees
• Research products to meet Owner requests or specification requirements
• Assist with job cost accounting
• Assist superintendent with scheduling and monitoring progress of work
• Maintain and help to coordinate/enforce the policies set forth in our Quality Management Program
• Assist with managing jobsite safety
• Assist with engineering and layout of work

Desired Qualifications:

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 3 years experience as a Project Manager and/or Project Engineer
• Previous experience coordinating a Quality Management Program
• Basic to moderate understanding of OSHA & MOSH safety regulations
• Willingness to travel
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
