Description A $2.6 million design-build reconstruction of the single span Route 209 Bridge over Raymondskill Creek. The project is being completed for the National Park Service and administered by the Federal Highway Administration.
Key Challenges & Project Details
- Performing phased work requires traffic to be maintained across bridge at all times.
- Existing substructure must remain and be stabilized using a combination of riprap scour protection, micropile foundation and concrete deadman anchor system.
- Worksite is inside a national park in an archeologically significant area.
