“Safety” is one of Wagman’s six corporate Core Values, and with an award-winning safety program, Wagman is an industry leader in this critical area.
- Committed to being the premier contractor in the markets we serve, Wagman has adopted a Zero Injury Process (ZIP) safety initiative. ZIP, simply stated, says that no injury is acceptable, and raises the bar to the highest position of safety performance. Wagman believes that awareness is key to its safety performance, and communicates job site safety on a daily basis.
G.A. & F.C. Wagman has a team of full time dedicated safety personnel who educate and ensure safe working conditions. Ongoing education programs keep safety first and foremost in the minds and activities of Wagman personnel. On site, Foreman conduct Safety Huddles and Stretch & Flex excercises every morning to start the day safely.
The Safety Huddle is performed every morning by project supervision to help employees understand the work being performed for that day as well as identifying potential hazards and how they can perform the work safely.
The Stretch and Flex Program gets employees warmed up and motivated, and prevents strains and pulls due to physical work.

Wagman is a proud recipient of the PENNSAFE Governor’s Award for Safety Excellence, which recognizes the successful safety programs that result in achievement of safety excellence.
