When creating a tagline and trying to find what truly sets Wagman apart, we chose to capture, “Bridging Generations Since 1902” for several reasons.

First, the obvious, Wagman has been in business since 1902. While most family owned businesses cannot successfully transition to the third generation, Wagman has defied the odds, currently operating with management from the third and fourth generations. Furthermore, the strategic direction of the company has allowed for steady and significant growth, particularly over the past ten years. Wagman’s Core Values are an integral part of every decision and every plan made at Wagman and we strongly believe that our values have laid the foundation for our success and longevity for our past, present and future.

But it isn’t just the Wagman family members who have “bridged generations”. It is the brothers, the fathers & sons, cousins and uncles, mothers and sons and all of the relatives and generations of employees within Wagman that make this story so unique. G.A. & F.C. Wagman, Inc. has over 40 employees with more than 20 years of service at Wagman. We have several employees who left Wagman at some point in their career, only to return to Wagman and choose to finish their career here. We have dozens of employees who have recommended Wagman to their relatives and friends as a desirable place to work, perpetuating the family business culture. This provides the unique opportunity for Wagman to offer continuous learning environment with employees across generations. Wagman’s project teams combine years of expertise and experienced individuals which are complemented by bright young, talented engineers and craftsmen who have the opportunity to learn from the best and grow their careers at Wagman.

Rich Wagman states, “We are proud and grateful that employees value Wagman as a desirable place to work and our employee development efforts have resulted in G.A. & F.C. Wagman being recognized 5 times as one of the “Best Places to Work in PA”. The talented individuals here at Wagman have helped us grow to where we are today and are an integral part of our future”.

In their own words...

“My brother, Don worked at Wagman and had good things to say about the company. I was a Salesman for an auto parts supply company. Wagman was one of my customers, I got to know the people at the shop and the mechanics. They were a great group of people and I told one of them that if he ever left, I wanted his job. When that person took a new job within a different division of Wagman, I applied for the position and got it. I have enjoyed working for Wagman for 22 years and have encouraged my son to work at Wagman; he has chosen to return to Wagman again this summer as an engineering intern.”
