Accountant
Develops and maintains accounting functions: preparing budgets, processing invoices, maintaining general ledgers, accounting reconciliations and related functions. Conducts internal audits to insure good accounting practices are followed. Position typically requires 4 years of construction accounting experience.
Cost & Scheduling Engineer
Assists in development and implementation of project cost engineering and procedures. Prepares various cost reports such as percent complete, productivity analysis, manhour summaries and progress reports. Performs tasks related to the collection of cost and schedule data required to monitor project progress. Position typically requires a 4-year engineering degree and 3 years experience.
Environmental Engineer
Plan and monitor demolition, drainage, erosion and sediment pollution control, environmental permit acquisition and wetland delineation and mitigation. Responsibilities may also include: performing traffic studies, surveying and environmental assessments. Position typically requires an Environmental Engineering degree and related experience.
Equipment Manager
Directs the operations of all equipment and maintenance personnel. Responsible for effective maintenance and repair programs, equipment safety programs, and equipment utilization on company projects and equipment leased to others. Acts as technical advisor on all equipment issues and assists management team with equipment budgets and potential equipment purchases.
Estimator
Prepares bid packages, conceptual estimates, analysis of subcontractor bids, etc., for projects. Interfaces with owner, A/E’s and contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility. Position typically requires 5 years of construction estimating experience.
Geo Technical Engineer
Develops or determines types of foundations, earthworks and/or pavement sub grades required for the intended structures to be built. Assesses risk of landslides, sinkholes, soil liquefaction, debris flow and rock falls. Monitors structures such as shallow/deep foundations and retaining structures/walls. Position typically requires a 4-year Civil Engineering degree with Professional Engineer license required.
Human Resources
Provides expertise in one or more areas of the Human Resources function through the application of advanced techniques, training and development, labor relations, EEO/AA Administration, etc. May research, develop, and update personnel programs and policies for related specialty.
Information Technology
Provides technical and administrative support to insure hardware and software operations run efficiently with computer network. Installs and enhances current and new revisions of the operating system. Writes/modifies application programs based on general specifications to solve various operations requirements. Provides network maintenance and repair. Provides training and consulting on the use of network hardware and related software applications.
Quality Control Engineer
Performs inspections and witness tests applicable to discipline to determine acceptability of work. Utilizes applicable procedures , codes and standards to evaluate test and inspection reports, recommending acceptance or rejection. Coordinates all onsite QC activities to insure compliance with applicable company, owner and government regulations and requirements. Establishes and conducts internal/external audits to insure quality control requirements are met.
Project Administrator
Provides administrative support for a large complex project. Performs various activities such as accounting, controls procurements, etc. and support for Project Manager in day-to-day project operations. Assists in the development, implementation and interpretation of project procedures. Performs routine contract administration activities.
Project Engineer
Plans and monitors on-site construction engineering activities for a particular project, maintaining liaison with architect/engineer and owner regarding project progress and changes. Insures project engineering activities comply with company and client requirements, providing interpretation of design and application of construction methods. Position typically requires construction engineering/design experience and professional registration.
Project Manager
Provides overall management direction to projects, establishes project objectives and policies, maintains liaison with prime client contracts and monitors construction and financial activities through administrative direction of on-site construction manager. Position requires a minimum of 10 years of construction project management experience.
Safety Manager
Plans, implements and supervises all project safety for a large, complex project. Analyzes need and determines specifications for protective safety equipment, materials and gear. Directs surveillance inspections and controls hazardous working conditions or unsafe employee activities. Insures all required records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures.
Superintendent
Coordinates, plans and supervises assistant superintendents, contractors and/or craft activities in a particular work (Discipline) area. Maintains liaison with other departments to insure all required materials, equipment and inspections support the project schedule. Coordinates plans and specifications with field design engineers, clarifying discrepancies. On smaller projects may be “first in command.”

Office Engineer
Assists the Project Engineer as well as support for the field. Responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, coordinate subcontract work as needed, and serve as contact person for vendors. Assist with on-site construction problem-solving as well as attend job meetings.
Field Engineer
Work directly for the Project Superintendent by planning and performing necessary stake-out work for each operation of construction on the project, tracking and reporting daily job production, job-wide safety as well as communicating with craft workers and subcontractors.
Project Engineer

Insures project engineering activities comply with company and client requirements, providing interpretation of design and application of construction methods. Position normally requires construction engineering/design experience and professional registration.

Performs quantity surveys/take off for site work. Assists with bid close and delivering bids. Solicits subcontractor and vendor pricing and performs scope review and analysis. Assists Project Manager with compilation of change orders and with the coordination of subcontractors.

Equipment Operator Positions Available
Use machinery to move construction materials, earth, and other heavy materials at construction sites. Operate equipment that clears and grades land to prepare it for construction of roads and bridges. Operate machinery that spreads asphalt and concrete on roads and other structures. Set up and inspect equipment, make adjustments, and perform some maintenance and minor repairs.
Carpenter
Construct built-in-place or prefabricated wooden and/or metal forms, according to specifications, for molding concrete structures such as: piers, footers, retaining walls, abutments, parapets, caps, columns, bridge decks, etc. Saw lumber in blueprint dimensions, using handsaw or power saw, and nail lumber together to make form panels. Lift and handle built-in-place forms and/or assemble and erect and install prefabricated forms. Build rough wooden structures such as: scaffolds, temporary frame shelters, overhang jacks, and safety railings.
Laborer Positions Available
Perform tasks involving physical labor. Carry, load, unload and stack materials. Lay out material and assist carpenters. Dig with pick/shovel, rake, spread, and vibrate concrete into place. Climb embankments and ladders to carry material to various work sites on project as needed. Jackhammer and saw cut concrete. Strip wooden forms and remove nails as well as cleanup project site of debris.
Truck Driver
Operate/drive Terex euclid-type tandem-axle trucks with articulating dump unit. Will move material including soil and rock from location to location on the job site. Will perform routine maintenance to equipment on daily basis and. May perform some laborer duties when not required to drive the truck throughout a work shift.
Welder
Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms and bridge parts, using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements.
Concrete Technician
Ensure that correct concrete practice is followed and tests are carried out to ensure that the quality of construction materials used complies with the relevant specifications. Duties could range from shoveling, pouring, mixing and laying concrete to testing and measuring the characteristics and properties of concrete and surrounding soil under various conditions.
Surveyor
Plan and perform necessary stake-out work for each operation of construction on the project. Record all stake-out work for future reference. Read and organize drawings and keep revisions updated. Operate various instruments (i.e., transept, level, distance meter, and autolight) in performance of stake-out duties.
